Our Story

Chase came into my life as a foster through Adorabull, and he quickly proved why bull terriers are called “velcro dogs”, all heart, all in, always close. He was an absolute tank, a real alpha male, but what stayed with me most was how effortlessly gentle he was with people, including kids. When Chase passed away, it left a hole I still feel every day.

I started volunteering at DARG in Cape Town, walking dogs and trying to do something useful with the grief. One day I set up a small photo shoot for a few of the animals, just to see if better photos could help them get adopted.

One of the dogs in that first shoot was named Molly. Hearing her name took me straight back to a family dog I had as a kid, and it stuck with me - it’s where Sit Molly Sit comes from.

Before long, people were asking if I could do the same for their own pets, and that accidental little idea became what we do today. Now we’re a small, passionate team obsessed with bringing your pets to life in portrait form. Premium quality without the hassle and cost of a traditional studio shoot. Chase is still the reason we care this much.
